That’s the case with the POCO F6 Pro, but its little brother isn’t that small (and it’s a bit smaller). And the POCO F6 has a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, up to 12 GB of RAM and a 1.5K screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate. A simple yet attractive design

We begin with the aesthetic category. POCO F6 offers one Simple and minimalist design, flat bevel but with curved edges and corners. It does not have a camera module, instead they are integrated into the chassis itself. The POCO F6 Pro, for its part, has a more subdued finish with a camera module at the top that houses three sensors and a flash. In that sense, it is more reminiscent of conventional POCO. It should be noted that they are similar in dimensions, but the POCO F6 Pro is noticeably heavier.

Regarding screens, both POCO phones offer us 6.67-inch AMOLED panels with a 120 Hz refresh rate, but there are differences in resolution. POCO leaves FullHD aside Mounter un panel 1,5K With a 2K+ panel (3,200 x 1,440 pixels) in POCO F6 and POCO F6 Pro we add a maximum brightness. Reaches 4,000 nits In the Pro model and of course, we can only take advantage in very specific situations.

The main difference between both screens is the resolution, brightness level and PWM dimming, which is the brightness control system. Basically, it’s a process that reduces screen flicker, and on paper, we want it to improve as much as possible. However, both devices will offer a more than adequate experience on a day-to-day basis.

If anything characterizes POCO during its journey into the smartphone world, it’s power. The company has always made the best in processors and this time it won’t be any less. Curiously, the POCO F6 comes out better than the POCO F6 Pro, as it’s the POCO F6 and not its big brother that mounts the latest from Qualcomm: the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3. The other is left with Snapragon 8 Gen 2. Probably because of the price.

While it is true that the POCO F6’s processor is more powerful in the raw, the truth is that the differences between one model and another will be noticeable in certain cases such as long gaming sessions. Liquid cooling with a vapor chamber will also help there. Needless to say, we’d be more than adequate with either of the two for WhatsApp, TikTok, Instagram and home apps.

In terms of RAM and internal storage, POCO F6 offers us eight or 12 Gigas memories RAM LPPDR5x and up to 512 GB of internal UFS 4.0 storage. That is, we have the fastest component ever. POCO F6 Pro, as part of this, increases the amount of RAM to 16 GB and storage Tera.

All this is brought to life by a 5,000 mAh battery on both models and Xiaomi’s new operating system, HyperOS. The differences are the fast charging capability, which is 90W on the POCO F6 and 120W on the POCO F6 Pro, according to POCO, the POCO F6 fully charges in half an hour and the POCO F6 Pro in 19 minutes. 90 and 120W chargers, respectively, are included in the box.

If by any chance these phones look familiar, it’s for a reason: the POCO F6 and POCO F6 Pro are the international versions. Redmi Turbo 3 and Redmi K70, respectively.

We’re getting close to the end, but not before addressing the camera. For the POCO F6, the company has opted for a Sony IMX882 sensor 50 megapixels with OIS/EIS and an eight-megapixel wide angle. A simple configuration where a telephoto might be missing, but ultimately everything is a question of price. Selfies, for their part, are handled by a 20-megapixel sensor.

For the POCO F6 Pro, the firm opted for a 50 megapixel sensor but not from Sony, but from OmniVision: a Light Fusion 800 which offers OIS. It comes with an eight-megapixel wide angle, a two-megapixel macro and a front sensor for selfies with a resolution of 16 megapixels.
